At the crash site, which occurred in Kanzaki city at 4:43 am local time, a fire broke out. A responsible person from the nearby kindergarten announced that all children are safe.
The local fire brigade indicated that he had received information in the sense that a person would have died near the place of crash. It is unclear whether the person was a crew member.
There were two people aboard the AH-64 helicopter.
